Acerca de Mi/About Me

Hola, mi nombre es Elizabeth JReyes, madre de dos hijos maravillosos [SE&HE], una autodidacta e independiente fotógrafa mexicana "Cazadora de momentos" residente en San Diego, California.

A la edad de siete años mi padre me regaló mi primer cámara, una gran y bonita polaroid, desde ese momento me enamoré perdidamente de la fotografía, de la libertad de expresión que esto permite, del poder de detener el tiempo, de congelar instantes, de capturar la belleza de la naturaleza, de capturar la esencia de esos momentos preciosos capturando el sentimiento de la gente, y los lugares de todo el mundo.  Recuerdo cada amanecer y atardecer que fotografíe a lado de mis padres, los paseos en bici con mis hermanas y hermano, los campos llenos de flores de colores, las montañas y carreteras que se quedaban atrás cuando viajabamos en carro, las sonrisas de las personas que se cruzaban en mi camino, las playas  y sus caracolas, los insectos, los cumpleaños y todos aquellos lugares que recorríamos cuando salíamos de viaje. Desde entonces, vivo eternamente enamorada de la fotografía, mi cámara paso hacer una extensión de mi cuerpo, de mi corazón y alma. Esto es, lo que hace, a una fotografía.  

No soy una  fotógrafa profesional, mi fotografía esta basada en mis propias ideas y personalidad, en lo que observo, siento y miro, en el aprendizaje del día a día, y como no, en lo que grandes fotógrafos inspiran. Como ya lo dije; Soy una apasionada, inquieta, autodidacta, curiosa, aprendiz  y eternamente enamorada de todo tipo de fotografía, del arte y de la naturaleza. Y en este apasionante e interesante recorrido, siempre me acompañan mis dos inseparables niñas; Canon y Sony, mis fieles compañeras de aventuras, de viajes  y cazadoras natas de momentos.

Hi my name is Elizabeth JReyes mother of two wonderful children [SE&HE] a mexican freelance and self-taught photographer "Hunter of moments",  San Diego's resident.

To the age of seven my dad gave me my first camera, a great and a nice polaroid camera, from that moment I'm passionately in love with photography, with the freedom of expression it allows, with the power to stop the time, of the freezing moments, of the nature beauty, of the essence these precious moments, of the people feelings and all places in the world. I remember every dawns and sunsets with my parents, the bikes rides with my sisters and brother, the colouring flowers in the field, the roads and mountains, the smiles of people who were crossing my way, the beaches and its shells, the insects, the birthdays and all those places when we were travelling. Since then I live eternally in love with the photography, my camera become an extension of my body, of my heart and soul.  It is, what it make to a photography.

I'm not a profesional photographer. my photography is based on my own ideas and personality, in what I feel, observe and look it, in the day by day of learning, and as not, in how great photographers inspire. As already I said it; I'm a  forever passionate, anxious, self-taught, curious, apprentice and eternally in love with all types of photography, with the art and with the nature. And on this exciting and interesting trip, my two inseparable girls always accompany me; Sony and Canon, my forever partners of adventures, of trips and born hunters of moments.
